A breast lift - also known as mastopexy - is a procedure performed by a plastic surgeon to change the shape of your breasts. During a breast lift, excess skin is removed and breast tissue reshaped to lift the breasts.

You may choose to have a breast lift if your breasts droop or your nipples are pointing downward. A breast lift may also improve your outlook and confidence in yourself.

A breast lift will not significantly change the size of your breasts. However, a breast lift can be performed in conjunction with breast augmentation or breast reduction.
